Multan (17th November 2014): The laptop distribution scheme for matric students has begun for Multan region. Students who have got more than 78% marks in their matric exams are given laptops under CM Punjab eYouth Scheme.
There have been 6 thousand 700 students from Multan and Lodhran who have been considered eligible for the provision of laptops. Punjab Minister for Prisons Ch Abdul Waheed Arrain, who was invited as Chief Guest, distributed laptops among such talented students. Punjab Police also presented guard of honour to the students during he ceremony.
The chief guest spoke about the good things done by the Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif for the province. he further said that “It’s new Pakistan and our forefathers dreamt of this Pakistan,”
The laptop distributions will be completed in a few days for the Multan region.
Students from Lodhran, Vehari, Khanewal and Multan have been intimated for the laptop distribution and have been asked to collect their laptops according to the following schedule.
The laptop distributions will be completed on 10th December 2014.
