Islamabad: Laptops have been distributed among 341 students of PMAS Arid University Rawalpindi. The students were also given internet devices. The laptops were handed over to the students by Senator Raja Zafar-ul-Haq on 4th July, 2015.
Students who were on merit for Punjab Education Endowment Fund (PEEF), were also given Scholarship cards by PEEF. The students were waitign for laptops under Prime Minister Laptops Scheme and the scholarships in Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR).
PMAS-AAUR Vice Chancellor (VC), Prof Dr. Rai Niaz, Raja Zafar ul Haq were present on the occasion and said that the laptops were given to the meritorious students. Dr. Rai Niaz also congratulated the students of Arid university for getting laptops.
A forest nursery and Horticultural Engineering Work Station was also inaugurated by Raja Zafar ul Haq, who also planted a tree there.
