The man behind the Pakistan’s largest humanitarian service, Abdul Sattar Edhi, died on 8th July, 2016 after a long period of hospitalization. His funeral will be held on 9th July 2016, afternoon at Karachi. The death news was
Edhi was under treatment in hospital from a number of weeks. He was diagnosed with diabetes and complete failure kidneys. He was kept on dialysis machine and ventilator was in use too. His eyes have been donated as per his wish.
His theme of life was to serve the humanity and he did it in a very organized manner. Thousands of ambulances are serving the patients in every corner of Pakistan. Moreover, setting up old homes, shelter homes for children and women are also the among the human services done by him.
News channels have confirmed that the funeral and burial ceremony will be held in Edhi Village.
