Islamabad: The federal Public Service Commission, Islamabad has notified the increase in age limit for Central Superior Services of Pakistan. Now, the upper age limit has been increased from 28 to 30 years. The Federal Minister for Planning, Ahsan Iqbal, had taken this initiative for reforming the CSS aspirants.
Earlier, the Premier asked the cabinet to look into it which finally approved the proposal of increasing the upper age limit of 2 years.
The public notice read as:
In pursuance of Cabinet’s decision, the upper age limit for CSS Competitive Examination has been enhanced by two years. The age limits for CSS Competitive Examination, 2017 onwards would be as under:
i. For fresh candidates: 21 to 30 years
ii. For the categories specified in Rule 3 (ii)of CSS Competitive Examination Rules , 2017: 21 to 32 years
Other requites have not not been changed except increasing the upper age limit. This decision will entertain more number of applicants for CSS Examination 2017 and in years to come.
